Bellegarde, who was from Regina, died of injuries he suffered in the early hours of Dec. 1 in Fort Qu'Appelle, located about 70 kilometres northeast of the capital city.
While police have not outlined exactly what happened, they have said Bellegarde died from stab wounds.
Another suspect, 25-year-old Preston Clarence Buffalocalf, was charged with robbery with violence in connection with the incident in Fort Qu'Appelle.
On Friday, RCMP found and arrested Buffalocalf on the Nekaneet First Nation near Maple Creek, Sask.
Buffalocalf was also charged in connection with an unrelated stabbing that sent a 24-year-old man to hospital earlier this month.
Three other men have been in custody on charges related to Bellegarde's death since December.
