CFIA says cooked ham being recalled

The Canadian Press
TORONTO - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says a brand of cooked ham is being recalled over fears it may be contaminated with a bacteria or parasites.

The product in question is Tour Eiffel brand Parisian Cooked Ham.

It was sold from deli counters at Sobeys, IGA, IGA Extra and some Metro stores in Ontario and Quebec between Feb. 10 and Feb. 21.

Some packages may not have a label with brand or date information.

Anyone who is unsure if ham they purchased is covered by the recall should check with the retailer.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the ham. (AM640, The Canadian Press)
